Two Thousand Years eBook M Dalto
I have to start off my review by saying “Bravo, Bravo M. Dalto” this is a wonderful start to what could be an amazing series!!! I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK!!!I am still swooning over Treyan and Alexstrayna!!! The way the prophecy brought them together. They instinctively felt right with each other, and their attraction to each other felt natural and right. The prophecy was right, they belonged together. I loved that. Although Alex was very headstrong, but i guess she would have to be. After all, she would be Empress...right?
The character growth in this story is so believable, especially with the main characters. But even some of the side characters growth, it’s just so well written. Then you have Treyan’s twin brother, Reylor, he is written so well. But he is written in such a way he still has me wondering what truly goes on in his heart and his head. The dialogue is just so well written that it helps give these characters the depth they need.
If you enjoy fantasy and swoon worthy romance....LOOK NO FURTHER!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!! Definitely giving it 5++ Stars!!! 💙💙💙🖤❤️

Two Thousand Years eBook M Dalto Reviews
Wow this book! The synopsis doesn’t give it any justice. I was sucked in from the very first page and even after i closed the book saying finished.
There is so much suspense in this book that you can’t help but turn each page to find out more. The details in the book are done so well you feel like you are really there following the story with your own eyes.
I loved Treyan. I definitely think there are things we haven’t found out about him but i feel deep in my core that he is good no matter what.
Alex annoyed me at times with her actions but I also can’t blame her either. Heck, I would probably do the same things if I was her. She has a good head on her shoulders and I can’t wait to find out more.
The author keeps you guessing as you get all the twists and turns and she makes them delicious along the way. I can’t wait for the next book!
What does this book have? Political intrigue, soul mates, magic, romance, and Boston. Okay, well, the latter might not matter to you, but it does to me! ;)
To begin with, the characters each have their own personalities; they leaped off the page for me. Alex, in particular, represents both a strong female character and also a typical masshole—which I adore. While it begins in Boston, MA it swiftly transports us to another realm where we meet more characters and get to feel the grittiness of the world. Reylor is a mystery and the antagonist, Treyan is the protag who you find yourself rooting for—unless you're me, I think... ;)
As the plot unfolds there was something that I do think would trigger some—some sexual abuse—although Dalto didn't glorify it by any means, I do believe it is worth mentioning. The story moved along quickly and I felt there wasn't a good place to stop which made me turn the pages all the faster because I needed answers!
All around this is a great read.
If you're looking for a great segway from Young Adult to New Adult, this book is it! There are a ton of YA Fantasy vibes while also keying in on the mature phases in life.
We meet this girl who is being thrown into a creepy situation that gave me 'Lord Voldemort and his Death Eater' vibes when she comes to her apartment only to find a crazy, cloaked guy speaking to a mysterious figure in an orb. I don't know what it was about this scene that completely made me think of Harry Potter.
But don't go into this book thinking that it is related to Harry Potter. We follow a main character who has an alter-ego in a fantastic fantasy dimension. Through the help of a guy, she tumbles down the path of learning her true identity, and trying not to pass out from utter shock.
If you also love stories with prophecy-driven plots, this is another great book to add to your TBR pile. There is a ton of adventure while giving us a great romance to ponder over.
It was fun to learn more about this new world! I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars. The ending left me with a cliffhanger moment, and I can't wait to get my hands on book 2!
When I first read this blurb, I was like finally an NA book that sounds awesome with a good plot. And let me tell you, the book did live up to the blurb! Plus, yes, plenty of swoon. I mean, swoooooooooooooooooooon!
Dear, Alex—you were pretty badass and also had to put up with some crazy crap! Dear, Treyan—you have my heart! Dear, Reylor—you are a crazy, crazy thing, but I still like you! Does that make me a bad person? The characters were on point! Plus, I got several things that I wasn't suspecting, and when that happens, that makes me a super happy camper!
The world building was wonderfully done, the writing was addicting, and the overall plot was superb! Oh, and yes, there is a cliffhanger and my heart will be asunder until I read book 2!
excellent writer, decent story
I'm really enjoying this book, well-written with a solid plot so far ))
Following Alex to the empire is a trip worth taking! Treyan is gentle and patient, leading her through the struggle to understand her role in the prophesy. Alex keeps her wits about her in this strange land, experiencing things she never imagined, or expected. Reylor is the villain that makes you question what you thought you knew, but does so in a way that makes you despise him nonetheless. I can’t wait for the brother’s story!
